What are the factors that determine the different package levels?

Some of the factors that determine the packages are: the finished length of the documentary, number of people interviewed and locations, number of client-submitted video clips, photos or objects, and various other optional extras. Since all projects are different, we will conduct a no-obligation consultation. We will then be able to send you an accurate estimate.

Do you tape and record in high definition?

Yes! All our media is captured in HD, including b-roll and location shooting.

Is lighting and sound included?

Yes! We include professional lighting and sound in all our productions.

Do you have the capability to add custom graphics?

Yes! Our team has vast experience creating and using graphics. An additional fee may apply.

What kind of music is used in the videos?

We use royalty-free music in the background of our productions. If you prefer to use a specific or different track from what we choose, an additional fee could apply.

What format are the videos delivered in?

The videos are usually delivered in DVDs or USB flash drives. We can also accommodate other format such as digital files, a private family website or Blu-rays. An additional fee may apply.

How can I premiere the documentary?

You can decide how to premiere the documentary. We can share ideas of how other families decided to celebrate and premiere the video biography in the past; from at-home occasions, and party room celebrations, to individual delivery as a holiday gift. An additional fee may apply.

Is there an average timeline?

Depending on the location and complexity of your project, most projects can be completed in 2-4 months. If you have a specific deadline in mind, please let us know and we’ll try our best to accommodate your request.

Do you convert to Blu-ray disc?

Yes! An additional fee could apply.

Do you transfer old films and VHS tapes to DVDs or digital files?

Yes! We can transfer the old films to either digital videotape or digital video files. An additional fee could apply.

Can I play the DVD on both a DVD player and a computer?

Yes, our DVDs are designed to play on DVD players, Blu-Ray players, and both PC and Mac computers.
